Umbrella database
Over the life of the Freshwater Umbrella research programme a wealth of chemical and biological data on acidified and acid sensitive surface waters in the UK have been collected. Various critical load mapping exercises have also led to the development of data sets covering the whole of the UK, and other aspects of these projects have produced long chemical and biological time series data.
The map on the right displays the 2518 water chemistry samples currently in the Freshwater Umbrella database. From here you can search the database using a range of search terms, or you can use the interactive map tool to investigate the database.
